Born in Chicago, where I attended traditional schooling during the week and Ukrainian school every Saturday, I spent my most formative years in Door County, Wisconsin.

In 2008, I moved to Milwaukee to pursue my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Marketing and Journalism. During the school year, I worked as an intern in the Special Events department for the Milwaukee Repertory Theater (The Rep), helping with events and donor relations throughout the year. In addition, I served as the Assistant House Manager for The Rep’s three theaters.

During the summers of my college years, I served as the Senior House and Box Office Manager for four consecutive summers at an outdoor theatre, American Folklore Theatre, in my hometown. On any given night, I could be found managing 10-15 volunteers, a 700 person house and had to handle disgruntled patrons, medical emergencies and inclement weather.

I moved to Pittsburgh in 2012 to earn a Master’s in Arts Management at Carnegie Mellon University while working at a local marketing agency, Agency 1903, as a Brand Strategist and user experience (UX) designer where I managed and designed sites for multiple clients from ski resorts, law firms to outdoor clothing companies.

In April of 2020, I graduated and earned my MBA from the University of Pittsburgh while working full-time as a UX Architect at American Eagle Outfitters. My daily work includes research and designing functions and features for stores, App and the website. Over the past two years I have been paying particular attention to service design, and aided in the creation of a customer journey map of American Eagle’s customer.

I serve as an Admissions Ambassador for Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College, a Children’s Trust member for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, a member of the inaugural class of Factory Fellows at the Mattress Factory, a New Guard member and avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Opera and a volunteer for the Highland Park Community Council.
